Are you kidding? Who told you that?
Numbers of cases of the flu were minimized by the same measures that we were told to take in order to prevent the spreading of COVID-19. Masks, social distancing, lockdown, staying at home, frequent washing of hands, hand sanitizer, not coughing directly into your hand for some really strange habitual reason that I never understood. I mean, really, shaking other people's hands and handling food with that hand coated with disease germs.
