So, trump recently passed a whole bunch of anti-trans legislation, but it was written really quickly and has a TON of holes in it. One example is where the order says

“‘Female’ means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell,” reads the order. “‘Male’ means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.”

At conception is specifically used here, which means than since everyone is biologically female until about seven weeks in the womb (the same reason men have nipples), everyone in the US is legally female.

Lol you’re trippin it’s chill tho. It means that there’s two sexes (male and female) and that if you belong to one sex at conception, then you officially are that sex.

I know that’s what he intendeds, but legal terms don’t care about intention. That’s what it LEGALLY means.

The interpretation of the verbiage makes a slight difference in the meaning, however. At conception, I belonged to the sex producing the small cell. Even though, at that moment, my cells were biologically female, the genetic transcriptions existed to code me into a male.
