Well howdy, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today's topic is doings afoot at the corner of F.O. Ave & Leopard Blvd | Yup, Derp Fuhrer's had a
busy week so let's take a
look at a few things.
Uh... hey, umm...
you guys are all about
election security, right? Only asking because Pam Bondi just shut down
the FBI's Foreign Influence Task Force... -you
know... the division that's responsible for keeping
hostile governments' mitts off our elections? That
Foreign Influence Task Force? Uh-huh... won't be
anymore of that... not under this administration
anyway. Oh, also, it's the part of the FBI responsible
for sniffing out unregistered foreign agents and
holding them accountable so uh... yeah, looks like
Pammy's still riding some butthurts over having to
own up to being a Qatari operative. Now... maybe it's just me but between Agent
Bondi Noem-ing the lawdogs guarding our
election systems and Dear Leader pausing
enforcement of the Corrupt Foreign Practices
Act on grounds of "it's going to mean a lot
more business for America," it sure seems
like maybe -just maybe- there's a cozy little
corner of the swamp being redecorated just
to give corruption, election tampering, and
anonymous foreign agents their own lily pads. Of course, y'all's precious Donny T would never
allow something like that, would he? I mean... if
you can't trust a guy who was peripherally involved
in money laundering, convicted of tax fraud not to
turn the U.S. into a lawless cesspool of bribery,
unchecked election interference and dark money
lobbyists working for foreign governments, who
can you trust, right? Eh, no matter -even if he does turn the nation
into a festering boil of corruption, who cares?
He's gonna set up all those tariffs on foreign
nations and get rid of income tax to make
'Murica rich. Oh, wait... that's right; tariffs are
paid by importers, not the exporting country
of origin. Hmm... well that certainly seems
problematic from a putting money in y'all's
pockets standpoint, doesn't it? I mean... what with that whole importers
passing their costs on to the consumer
factor, it's a bit like squeezing a balloon;
sure it deflates if you're Conan-ing it by
the balloon knot but it inflates where you
aren't. So uh... yeah, okay, with the
income tax gone he can just crank up the
tariffs to cover the difference... Of course,
that money will still be coming out of
America's pockets. But hey, at least y'all
get a few minutes of "promise kept" elation
before the leopard locks jaws on your faces.
Surely that's worth skyrocketing prices on
everything, isn't it? Still... it seems like there's some downside
I'm just not seeing... Hmmm... Let's see... economists have noticed that as
prices go up, people tend to spend less...
people spending less means there's less
business being done resulting in markets
contracting... which means businesses have
to raise their prices to maintain their bottom
line... which leads to people spending less...
which leads to more market contraction...
which forces businesses to either raise their
prices again or start cutting expenses... given
that choice, businesses generally opt for
cutting expenses in the form of layoffs...
layoffs mean less household income... which
leads to people spending less... meaning less
business, more market contraction... and
before you know it, the economy's sucked the
doors off recession as it blows past en route
to full-on depression, wildly spiking unemploy-
ment and national-scale rise in poverty. Yeah... that definitely seems like a downside...
--there's must be some silver lining in all this... Oh, I know, the DOGE!! Yeah, that's the ticket!!
Good ol' Elon's moving fast and breaking things,
tampering with federal data systems, working to
turn the whole government into a smoking (and
quite possibly radioactive in light of recent events)
crater of dysfunctional chaos, unmanned posts
and broken supply, command chains one agency
at a time --and once he's got everything completely
turned into a giant poop emoji, well... not sure
what's going to happen then. Still, no need to
worry about the class of intel agents his unvetted
crew of bumbling incompetents outed; they'll
probably survive just fine in the field. You know...
'cause we gotta trust Dear Leader, don't we? It's
not like someone who stole monetizable, critical
NDI only to have a raft of our foreign intel assets
suddenly turn up all X-eyed would just hand his
corporate and foreign leader buddies wrecking
bars and the keys to Uncle Sam's front door, right? | image tagged in trump unfit unqualified dangerous, benedict arnold | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
