You know, they are totally misrepresenting things.

You can join the military if you feel that you are "transgender".

You just are not permitted to wear the uniform of the gender you biologically are not, nor are males permitted to wear make up in uniform, and males are not permitted to have long hair, although women can have those really butch buzz cuts.
