Whether or not your statement is factually accurate is what you claim Hamas to be “guilty” of, which appears to be something that you left intentionally vague.
Guilty of war crimes at some point? Definitely. There is not a single sane-minded supporter of our cause that says Hamas is absolutely perfect, and has never done anything wrong. In fact, people who are shrewd will know that it is practically impossible for Hamas to not do anything “wrong.”
That would be because Hamas, as flawed as it is, is the only viable reaction to the decades of suffering that Zionists have inflicted upon the Palestinian people through ethnic cleansing, apartheid, dehumanization, and as of right now, genocide. That is the only viable reaction that Palestinians have other than taking it lying down, which is taking up arms against their oppressors.
Guilty of the same wanton destruction that Israel has wreaked upon Gaza? Absolutely not.
Do you believe what Hamas is doing can be equated to unnecessary bloodshed? Should they go for a more “peaceful” solution? Because they have. Many times. The most famous example being the 2018–2019 Gaza border protests, where they were protesting for their right to return to the land they were once expelled from during the Nakba, literally enshrined in international law (

I’m not saying that the actions Hamas took are even justified. Rather, I’m simply trying to explain how they’re *justifiable*, given the conditions that had created it in the first place.
Besides, it’s practically impossible to form a more “peaceful” opposition to what Israel is doing when basically the only resistance they allow is Hamas, since it brings the most bad press.
