atp i take it as attention seeking. if someone says “your cool” just say “Thanks! you too.” there’s no situation where you have to say something so negative. if you have to vent then just say so.
i think it's just that modern society demand people to be some stoic and rude and tough that we forget to actually show vulnerability, compassion and empathy to one another
it's sad that said men are made to believe that they're some loser, that they can't take the compliment. that's why I'm willing to offer emotional support to those people
why is it so hard to take a compliment and love nowadays for the average man; even a simple "yo you're pretty cool" is met with "nah I'm a loser I can't do anything right i should kms"
