The flag raising pic shown was NOT staged.
That is a myth. Rosenthal took that picture. D
Do your own research. It isn’t hard to find the truth regarding this iconic image.

Calm down.

I am not the enemy.

The image IS inspiring.

However, his image is a photo of the SECOND flag that was planted on the hilltop on Iwo Jima.

The photographer that took the picture was advised in advance that the second flag would be installed to replace the first flag that was erected some time earlier.

Point being - MSM has long been misleading and propagandizing.

They are not reporters of facts or purveyors of the truth.
