No, but that would be the two wrongs fallacy if they did. Democrats tend to vote in lockstep far more than republican. They'll oppose Trump no matter what because he's not part of the establishment mentality. Many republicans opposed him the first time because of the same reason and got spanked for it.

It's time for democrats to clean house and get back to the good values they abandoned for the last couple decades and check new ones to see if they are good things. Once they are a better party, republicans will be forced to be better to compete. Republicans have somewhat did this, but have a long ways to go too.
