So first off, let's look at the
*cough* "quote" commonly
attributed to Nikita Krushchev:; "We do not have
to invade the United
States, we will destroy
you from within."; Maybe he said it, maybe he didn't... regardless, there's
no denying that Putin is an old school Imperialist Russia
type, that one of Putin's/Russia's go-to strategies for
weakening foreign governments is to get their elected
officials on Russia's side. How would one go about such
a task when the nation in question is one of Russia's old
cold war roadblocks? Well... step one is the easy part: hire domestic private
investigators through proxies on pretense of opposition
research to surveille, dig up dirt on politicians. And, thanks
to one of the weirder quirks of human psychology, the
politicians who sell themselves as paragons of virtue,
of upright citizenhood are generally the ones with
skeletons in their closets. As a general rule, we assumptively expect from others
those behaviors, traits possessed in ourselves; i.e. honest
people tend to operate on the assumption people they
deal with are honest as well, don't feel compelled to
convince others of their honesty because they know
the caliber of their own character. Conversely, crappy people go out of their way to portray
themselves as virtuous because they also know the caliber
of their own character causing them to over-compensate
in selling a counter-image. So when you put those two
things together and throw in a few cups of proudly
ignorant... well... it stands as a primary factor in why the
Trump-cult is so vulnerable to Dear Leader's con game. Anyway, to nutshell the issue, a politician with
skeletons in the closet, who ran on a virtue ticket
is highly vulnerable to blackmail because their
pride and/or thirst for power drove them to lie to
their constituents in order to get elected --and
that's where the real problems start. Step two: use the uncovered dirt to exert control over
that politician. Not for anything big, mind you... -not
at first. No, first the ask is small, relatively benign,
prefaced with a promise of "it's just this one thing."
Starting with the small ask allows the blackmailer to
rummage through the toolbox, find the politicians who
are coercible, who put maintaining their power, status,
image ahead of their oath. And that one thing is how
the leash is firmly affixed to the target; giving in that
once hands the blackmailer a brand new, more durable,
corruption-shaped skeleton to wave around, is all it
takes to secure the blackmailer's grip. Step three: the blackmailer uses their proxies to
slowly (remember, the major adversarial foreign
powers don't need to hurry and have plenty of
money to throw into recon) build a stable of
compromised politicians while making certain none
of them know about the others; by keeping the
blackmailed in the dark about each other's
existence, the blackmailer ensures members of the
stable self-police out of fear of discovery, minimizes
risk of overheard conversations, uncompromised
partiesbecoming privy to the blackmail. Which eventually leads to step four: deployment of
critical mass. Once the blackmailer's stable of corrupted
politicians is sufficiently large to exert steering force
on a government, that's exactly what they do. And
from the outside, it looks like lock-step party solidarity
but the reality is it's actually extorted unity. Think about it, Trump-cult kids; the bulk of the GOP's
Congressional cohort has been in office, living in the
nation's capital for years --plenty of time for a foreign
power to gather kompromat. Was it not Marjorie Taylor
Greene who threatened to out EVERYBODY's dirty
laundry if the House GOP didn't close ranks around
Matt Gaetz? Has it not been revealed the House has
a multi-million dollar slush fund specifically for under-
rugging the consequences of *cough* indiscretions?
People who don't have skeletons in their closets don't
need such things. And finally, step five: arrival of the foreign adversary's
ideal unwitting tool and/or willing collaborator of a head
of state -which brings things to a critical question: if the
GOP is the party of law and order, the party of rule of
law, the party which always backs the blue, the pro-
strong borders, national security party, why does its
Congressional headcount make excuses over Dear
Leader's illegal, unsecured possession of NDI, top
secret files, engagement in conspiracy to obstruct
federal officers in the recovery of said same, keep
looking the other way as he issues Executive Orders
violating the Constitution, issues pardons to violent
criminals who attacked police, issues pardons to
pedophiles, openly, unlawfully attempts to fire federal
employees, openly disregards the law to send in his
hand-picked, unvetted tech bro with known ties to both
Russia and China to sow chaos, disorder and
dysfunction in critical federal agencies, who's
compromising secured federal computers, locking
federal employees out of the system while he and his
lackeys insert who knows what under zero oversight
and who could easily be seeding every invaded system
with kill codes? How long will it be until, what will be the
consequence when, ultimately it's the Department of
Energy or, as Asset Orange has recently directed,
the Pentagon under the knife? I mean... seriously, think about it, Trump-cult kids. Use
your brains as something other than a seat cushion for
once; do you think it's just co-incidence Dear Leader
stole boxes of monetizable NDI when he left office
and all of a sudden our foreign intel assets, informants
all around the world started being murdered? Are you really that naive?
