I don't get how the government works. I don't know when they created road blocks into firing someone in the government.
When your job is 100% funded by the taxpayer and you aren't performing your job in the best interest of ALL Americans then there shouldn't be anything standing in the way of you and the door. Out you go. Your no longer fleecing the taxpayers who are forced to give their money to you.
Your fired regardless of how self important you think you are. Your name isn't on the payroll. At this point you are trespassing. Go home. Start looking for a real job in the private sector.
