Joseph: Honey? Are you okay in there?
He says knocking on the door to Violet's room. Inside the room, Violet was vomiting large amounts of blood into the toilet before catching her breath.
Violet: Leave me alone…
Joseph: Oh come on, honey, don’t be like that…
Violet: Don’t call me that…
He snaps his fingers as the walls part like the red sea, creating an entrance for himself to walk through and towards Violet.
Joseph: Violet, sweetheart… I’m sure everything is going to be okay for them…
He pats her on the back, which causes her to vomit again. After wiping her mouth, she lashes out at Joseph.
Violet: Okay for them? OKAY FOR THEM?! You sent assassins to everyone I love and you expect them to be fine?!
Joseph: Well you’re always bragging about how great your ex husband is, so…
Violet: Then you would have just avoided him at all costs… or maybe you were scared.
Joseph flinches and turns to her with a fake smile
Joseph: And why would you say that?
Violet: I can see it now… You’re afraid that he would get so mad that he would track you down in order to defeat you and claim me back… How romantic!
She says to herself… but she quickly snaps back to scolding Joseph.
Violet: Mark my words, Joseph… Matt will find you… and he will kill you.
Joseph, in a cold sweat, regains his posture.
Joseph: Well uh… I see you’re not in the mood to talk right now so… bye
He sinks into the ground as it reforms once he’s gone. Violet sighs to herself and falls onto her bed… if only she could hear Matt's voice one more time…
Matt: AGH WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!
Matt cried out as a random woman he never met before hugged him. From the sound of his yell, the woman quickly let go of him and scratched the back of her neck.
Topaz: Oh I… apologize sir… You just looked like someone I knew…
Matt: Yeah it’s fine, sorry for yelling at you. I’ve just been stressed lately.
Topaz: I see… anyways may I assist you and your friends?
Matt turns to the others. Heather was examining Topaz’s vest carefully while Linda and Quinn were looking around in awe. Mercury and Spark converse with each other and turn to Matt.
Spark: She seems native here, so I think it’s best if we let her guide us.
Matt nods and turns back to Topaz
Matt: Actually, yeah. We’re travelers around here and we’d like to explore.
Topaz looks up and feels a sense of nostalgia before clapping her hands together.
Topaz: Wonderful! I’ll be happy to show you around! Follow me!

The 5 follow her as Matt takes note of Heather's behavior… She seems quiet and more proper than usual.
Matt: Something wrong?
Heather: Yeah… there’s something off about that girl… but for some reason I feel really happy around her…
Topaz: Excuse me but… may you two please move at a faster pace? I do not wish to leave you behind.
She says tilting her head to the side, confused on what they’re talking about.
Heather: Uh yeah, sorry!
Topaz smiles and hops slightly before turning around and keeps walking while Matt and Heather keep up.
Topaz: This is the plaza. You can get all things here. Food, clothes, souvenirs, everything you need, and everything you want.
Quinn gets excited and pulls Linda with them to see Heather
Quinn: Lady Heather, may we please explore this plaza?
Heather goes through her pockets and takes out two 500 dollars worth of money.
Heather: Here you go, you two! Go have fun.
Quinn excitedly rushes off with Linda who tries to keep up.
Linda: Q-quinn wait up!
Quinn: Keep up, Lin Lin! I want to see the food they have here!
Linda: Quinn!!
As the two run off, Topaz turns to Heather.
Topaz: Are those your servants? They seem nice.
Heather: Yeah… I had a third one but he’s not here anymore… His name was Abraham.
Topaz eyes perk up.
Topaz: Abraham?
Heather: oh you know him?
Topaz: Yeah! Mister Abraham! He taught me everything I know!
Heather smiles, imagining Abraham taking care of a young Topaz, but snapping out of that dream and nods.
Heather: I see. Well he was the best person I’ve met… Almost
She says glancing at Matt who was playing rock paper scissors with Mercury and Spark over who gets to find Quinn and Linda after this is over.
Topaz: …who is that man anyways?
Heather: Oh that's Matt. Matt Kingsman.
Topaz: …so he is related to Mister Kingsman… I'm going to have to give him thanks later.
She says giggling to herself.
Topaz: Alright, lets keep going, everyone!
Matt, Spark, and Mercury finish their epic game of rock paper scissors and Matt runs to get Quinn and Linda to tell them they’re leaving. They were both snacking on some sort of candy until they saw Matt.
Quinn: What? But it’s only been 15 minutes!
Matt: 15 minutes and you bought your friend a new hat
Linda: I- it’s a sombrero…
She says pouting as Quinn pats her on the head.
Matt: A hat is a hat. Anyways let's get going guys…

He motions for them to follow as the three catch up to the group. Topaz shoots a thumbs up as they keep moving… however one of the guards spots the five walking down the plaza and elbows his partner.
Guard 1: H-hey… you see that?
Guard 2: Yeah… brown spikey hair… jacket with 2 buttons… that's the description the King and Queen gave us…
Guard 1: Let's go to the castle now.
The two head off to the castle as Joseph is sitting on his throne with Jewel.
Jewel: …father? Where’s mother?
Joseph: Well she’s… going through that time of month again.
Jewel: …I see… and we could have been such a happy family.
She says as her hand ignites in flames and glares at Joseph. He starts to panic and tries to make up something.
Joseph: I assure you Cross, everything will be alright! We sent the assassins and they most likely have taken care of those people who were in Violet’s pass.
Jewel smiles and clenches her fists as the fire disappears.
Cross: Very well, Father. Do not disappoint me.
He says walking away in Jewel's body. Joseph thinks to himself… what twisted son of a bitch would take over some poor girl's body… but his thoughts are interrupted by the guards storming into quarters.
Guard 1: My lord! The fabled Kingsman is here!
Joseph: What?!
His throne starts to extend out of the castle and into the ceiling so he can get a view of the kingdom… and there he saw it. Matt kingsman, exploring his kingdom, no doubt in search for his lovely wife. He couldn’t let this happen. Joseph descends back down and gets out of the throne.
Joseph: Put the castle on lock down, everyone. We have things to do.
Guards: Sir yes sir!
Meanwhile, back outside, Matt notices the big ass castle in the middle of the entire kingdom.
Matt: Wow, that's a nice castle.
Topaz: Mhm! This is the home of our rulers King Joseph and Queen Violet. They make sure that everything goes smoothly throughout our lives… however they aren’t a big help with the poverty situation…
Matt: I see I see… wait, Violet?
Topaz: Yep. Queen Violet.
Matt turns to her in order to confirm they’re talking about the same person.
Matt: Purple hair, komodo, looks like she would kill any woman in a 50 meter radius?
Topaz: Mhm… not sure about that last part though…
She says playing with a strand of her hair.
Matt: Oh uh… well cool… See ya
He says coating his legs with Ares armor and launching himself towards the castle to the dismay of Topaz.
Topaz: Wait, come back! You didn’t check out the ice cream place… aw… he’s gone.

She turns to the others and starts to question them.
Topaz: Who are you people? You’re not from Numbaria, right?
Heather: well we-
Spark: Wait, Heather… What if she’s one of the cult members?
Heather: What, but-
Spark: You know, the cult that Angel’s crazy ex boyfriend made! We don’t know if Cross could be spying on us at the moment-
Topaz: Who’s Cross? There’s a cult going on?
Spark stared at her in order to see if she was feigning being stupid in order to pass.
Spark: Uh… yeah there’s a whole religion here about a guy named Cross?
Topaz: Oh I don’t talk to people much when I go out. I usually just go into a store, point at what I want, give some money, and head out. You guys are the first people I’ve talked to in 19 years!
Spark looks at her a bit surprised. 19 years without human communication? How does she still function?
Spark: Alright nevermind… We can tell you everything.
After a couple minutes, Topaz was brought up to speed.
Topaz: I see… and how can I help?
Spark: Wait, you want to help? You’ll be considered an enemy by the public!
Topaz: I mean my two favorite people in the world were considered enemies too… so I’ll just be carrying on the tradition.
Heather just stares at her and smiles. She reminds her so much of him…
Heather: Alright, uh, Quinn, go up there and make sure Matt’s okay.
Quinn: Got it.
They turn into smoke and float away.
Spark: You too, Mercury.
Mercury nods and creates a staircase for herself and runs up it into the castle.
Heather: The rest of us will get inside another way… but how do we get inside without being seen?
Topaz looks around and points to a section of the castle.
Topaz: There’s no one there. We can sneak in around that area.
Heather: How do you know for sure?
She plays with a strand of her hair as she turns to Heather.
Topaz: I can sense other people's emotions, for example, Mr Kingsman is in that room up there and is feeling hostile.
Spark: So… we can use your ability to track other guards and make sure they don’t see us?
Topaz: Precisely. Shall we?
The two nod as Heather and Spark run with her, while Linda catches up
Linda: Lady H-heather, can we get ice cream after t-this?
Heather: Of course, Lin Lin.
Linda forces herself to smile as she catches up to them. Meanwhile, Cross was sitting on his bed thinking of what to do next but a voice interrupted his thoughts.
Jewel: …why? Why do you use me? Aren’t there any other people you could use for your master plan?
Cross: You talk too much for a tool…

Jewel: If you’re going to use me, I want answers! Why my body? Why this kingdom? What is your endga-
Cross grabs his wrist and rips it off, causing severe harm to Jewel.
Cross: You talk with your head too high, princess. I don’t owe you anything. Now you can keep quiet, or I’ll send you back to your dad.
No response… Cross smiles to himself
Cross: …good.
He gets up to leave but just then, an explosion is heard from downstairs.
Guard 1: OH CRAP WHERE IS HE?!
A guard cries out looking around for the intruder. From behind, Matt appears and slams their head into the ground and keeps running up the stairs. Quinn and Mercury catch up and question his actions.
Quinn: Jesus, Matt, you’re actually letting them live? I mean barely, but still.
Matt: Who knows? They might be doing this unwillingly.
A man with a black trench coat and mechanical drones appear in front of them.
The man: Greetings, my name is Nolan, the number one guard of the king. My ability allows me to control any electronic device with my mind! You won’t even last a second against me, intrud-
Matt: outta my way!
He yells as he jumps behind him and suplexes Nolan, knocking him out. They keep running upwards as Quinn keeps trying to get Matt’s attention.
Quinn: Hey, hey Matt! Are you sure you can win this? The king is one of the strongest people in this kingdom.
Matt: I’m sure, Quinn. We have to stop this cult and get back Violet.
Quinn: Are you sure you can even call this a cult? We haven’t seen Cross yet.
Matt suddenly stops in his tracks and turns to Quinn.
Matt: …what? What are you talking about? Angel said it herself!
Quinn: Well I mean yeah, but can we trust her judgment? It’s been years, or maybe centuries since she’s seen that guy. Maybe he’s changed. Maybe he’s not behind this at all.
Matt looks up thinking about what Quinn just said and puts a hand on their shoulder.
Matt: You know what, yeah. Maybe they did change.
Quinn smiles innocently until Matt punches them in the face and into a wall.
Matt: Or maybe it’s just you.
Mercury looks at them shocked, but Matt quickly explains himself.
Matt: I was wondering why Quinn was questioning me even though we agreed on a plan back in the underworld, and I think I figured it out. Defending Cross’s actions, trying to distract me from my goal, I don’t know how, but I think she got brainwashed when we split up earlier…
Suddenly, vines appear from the ground and wrap around Matt and slam him to a wall, Quinn got up with a look of anger in their eyes.

Quinn: What the hell was that for? You think I’m brainwashed? Are you insane?
Mercury quickly creates her sword and slices the vine to free Matt.
Matt: Thanks Merc! Hold them off for me!
He says running off. Mercury glares at Quinn, who was in a fighting stance.
Quinn: Sending off a lackey instead of fighting me himself? Am I not good enough for him?
They laugh and crack their knuckles. Mercury is unfazed as she gracefully gets into her stance.
Quinn: Not the talker, huh? Well that makes this easier for me!
They say as the two charge at each other. Meanwhile, Matt finally makes it to the top and sees a man sitting on the throne.
Joseph: …so you finally made it to me… Your final challenge in order for you to reclaim your wife.
Matt: Yeah… I’m prepared to end this once and for all, Cross!
Joseph: Cross? You wanted to come after our god?
He laughs madly before standing up.
Joseph: You don’t stand a chance against him, or me for that matter… for I am the almighty ruler of this land, Joseph Howard!
Matt: …who?
Meanwhile, back at the underworld, Angel and Fox are just watching tv while Eren sleeps.
Angel: So uh… are we going to help them?
Fox: not until Eren wakes up.
The two wait patiently for a while, watching family guy reruns out of boredom until the tv shuts off. Fox and Angel turn and see Eren holding the remote and switching the channel.
Eren: Where the hell is Columbo…
Fox and Angel turn to each other.
Fox: Okay, now we help. Let's go, Eren.
Eren: Huh? Where are we going?
Fox grabs her by the collar as they both teleport off.
Angel: good luck you two!
