It was a beautiful night. Mercury and Spark were hanging out in their apartment, with her watching TV and Spark hanging up clothing. Mercury was watching the news with a serious expression and signalled Spark to come over. He walks over and sits down… And what he saw shocked him to the core. On the news a royal family was being wedded. The man was Joseph Sunday, and the woman was-
Spark: Wait, is that Violet?
He was correct on that assumption… It seems like Violet was marrying a different man from Matt. The two continued watching together, wanting more details. Joseph stepped on the podium.
Joseph: Thank you, people of Numbaria, for joining us for this wedding, however some may know that the queen has had a life before this, where she didn’t know she was royalty…
The audience nods.
Joseph: However, we know what our great and powerful god has said…
The audience and Joseph all speak at once

Joseph: Exactly! And so… we sent assassins to kill them.
Spark: What-
Violet, who was silent and smiling the entire time suddenly got a worried expression.
Violet: HEY HEY HEY WAIT! WE DIDN’T AGREE TO THIS! YOU JUST SAID I SHOULDN’T TALK ABOUT THEM!
Joseph: Well yes, but Cross told me personally they must die… Trust me, if they live, they’ll just want you back-
Violet grabs the mic away from him and yells.
Violet: MATT! KIDS! EREN! SPARK! THE SISTER OF SPARK! RUN NOW!
The tv cuts to static as Spark and Mercury just stare dumbfounded. But then they hear a knock on the door… Spark hesitantly opens the door and sees a small girl with red hair.
Jewel: …so you must be Spark…
Spark: …Spark? Oh you mean the guy downstai-
Jewel’s eyes flash yellow and blast Spark with fire, who quickly closes the door and grabs his stuff. Mercury makes a shield around them as Jewel busts through the door with a wicked smile.
Jewel: *male voice* Come on… I didn’t take you two for cowards…
Mercury looked at the girl's eyes with some shock… was there another- Suddenly, her shield breaks and is engulfed in flames.
Spark: Sis! Damn it where the hell is Matt-!

Meanwhile Matt was saying an ungodly amount of swears in the park. After a long while, he calms down and sits next to Eren, who fell asleep halfway through his speech.
Matt: I wish I could be as carefree as you and your dad. Nothing ever gets in your guy’s skin.
Eren did not answer due to the fact that she was still asleep. Matt makes her sit up and continues to talk… but in the distance, a man stepped behind them and started speaking…
Man: So you must be Matt Kingsman… King Joseph wishes for your head, and I shall bring it to him…
No response, since Matt isn’t even paying attention to him.
Man: …You see, us people in Numbaria have been given special powers… for example, my ability is the manipulation of metal… I can bend it to my will and use it against you!
The man lifts up his arms as metal poles and benches around him bend around him.
Man: Now prepare yourself for the greatest fight of your li-
Matt: Bitch, I’m talking!
He says turning around and punching the crap out of the man. In just a single blow he was knocked unconscious…
Matt: …Oh I think I went too far… hey was that lamp post always broken like that?
Fox: No, He was a metal manipulator.
Matt: Oh okay that makes se- WOAH WOAH HEY WHEN THE HELL DID YOU GET HERE?!
He jumps back out of fear and sees Fox standing there with Angel.
Fox: Is that any way to treat the person who raised you?
Matt: Yeah sorry I’m a bit jumpy today… Anyways, who is that guy?
Fox: Oh that's just an assassin sent by Numbaria.
Matt: …Oh… Violet wants me dead huh?
Fox: …
He turns to Angel.
Angel: He didn’t watch the news?
Fox: Didn’t watch the news. This is going to be hard to explain…
He turns back to Matt who is going to all the stages of grief except acceptance.
Fox: …Hey uh… your other friends got attacked too. We can take you to them in the underworld if you want.
Matt: No… there’s no point anymore without her…
Fox: Ooohhh that bad huh…?
Matt: She didn’t even leave a note…
Angel glances at Fox who nods and just grabs Matt and Eren and teleports off into the underworld. There was Heather, Linda, Quinn, and Saike.
Matt: Saike you were attacked too?
Saike: Nah I just wanted to help.
Matt: Oh okay…
He sits down on the couch and stares at the floor without a single hint of happiness.

Eren was thrown next to her and hung onto the edge of the couch, still asleep.
Matt: …where’s Spark and Mercury?
Fox is about to answer but the sound of the two stumbling down the stairs is heard. They look up and to their horror, Spark is carrying an unconscious Mercury who was covered in burn marks.
Spark: Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god! Eren I need you to heal my sister!
Fox: She’s asleep. I’ll do it for you.
Spark: Okay okay thank you… careful…
Fox takes Mercury and heads to an isolated room. Matt looks up to Spark, who was anxiously sitting down…
Matt: So what happened…?
Spark: Okay, so this red haired girl with yellow eyes came into our apartment and attacked us… I tried to distract her and make her think she got the wrong guy, but she just started blasting! Sis couldn’t even hit her! Everytime she got close, she would catch on fire… I told her to stop but she wasn’t going to listen! After a couple of times, I grabbed her and booked it out of there!
Saike: Red haired girl… Yep just as I thought.
Everyone turns to Saike who starts telling his side of the story.
Saike: I saw this poor red haired girl in chains, crying because her dad beat her and locked her down in the basement. I took off the chains for her and she was overjoyed with happiness. I let her stay at my place until my wife and one of my sons saw something weird… there was this… thing possessing the girl, and trying to make us distrust each other… I figured this out when I saw Violet and-
Matt: Wait Violet’s working for the bad guys?!
He says in disbelief as he slumps down on the couch even more.
Matt: She turned on me…
Saike: …anyways I have no idea what that thing is…
Angel: I do.
She walks in the middle of the room and sits down.
Angel: His name is Cross. An angel banished from the heavens for his cruel punishments and ideals… and my ex…
Linda looked a bit scared and hugged Quinn as Angel continued.

Angel: I’m sure you all remember the Duplo incident? Not the one recently, but the one multiple years ago. The killing of Victoria Timber. That was the last straw for Cross, and he decided to take action in his own hands. I told him, “No! Not everyone is like this! Just give them a second chance!” But he didn’t listen. And when I became a mortal like you all, he broke up with me… But my love life isn’t important to this, He has two things to be wary of… One, his possession, which you all know by now, and two, widespread brainwashing which makes people believe he’s some sort of god. Fortunately I have a little trick I can use to make one of you immune to their brainwashing, but it’ll take a while… Which one should stay?
Matt: …Stay? You’re acting like all of us will go somewhere.
Angel stutters, taken aback by how pessimistic Matt is acting.
Angel: Well yeah uh… Persephone was going to make you all teleport in Numbaria and-
Matt: I’ll pass. There’s no point anymore…
Heather gets up irritated and walks up to him.
Heather: What is wrong with you today? Are you really giving up because your wife is brainwashed and working for the bad guys?!
Matt nods.
Heather: No. Get up. You’re aware of your flaws and I know being a quitter isn’t one of them.
Matt: …there’s no point… she doesn’t love me anymo-
Heather, with rage, slaps Matt in the face and grabs him by the shoulders.
Heather: SHUT UP! OKAY?! SHUT UP! DO YOU REALLY THINK I’M GOING TO LET THE MAN WHO SAVED MY LIFE JUST STAY SAD LIKE THIS?! NO! IF I DESERVE TO BE HAPPY, SO DO YOU! WE’RE GOING TO GO IN THERE, BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THAT ANGEL, AND GET YOU BACK HAPPILY WITH YOUR WIFE, DO YOU HEAR ME?!
Matt looks up at Heather, who looked like she was on the verge of crying… Matt shakes his head and looks up at her.
Matt: Alright fine. Let's do this.
Heather then hugs Matt tightly, which catches him off guard.
Matt: Jesus christ you’re strong- Hey! Help!
Linda and Quinn: Yeah on it!

The two girls both pull Heather away from him as Matt laughs a bit. Heather takes a deep breath and calms down.
Matt: So when are we leaving Angel?
Angel: 30 minutes from now…
Matt: Alright, here’s my plan. Eren is asleep right now so you can do your little magic trick on her, and me, Spark, and Mercury head in and-
Heather: *Ahem*
Matt turns to Heather confused.
Heather: You really think I came all this way to snap you out of our pessimistic thoughts? I’m coming too, dummy!
Matt: You can fight…?
Heather: Well no, but I’m here for emotional support. And Q&L can back me up if I’m in danger, alright?
Matt thinks about it…
Matt: Eh sure why not I guess.
Heather: Yay! I’ll make sure we don’t get in your way, right guys?
Linda and Quinn: Yes Lady Heather!
Suddenly a door opens and out pops out Fox and a healed Mercury.
Fox: Alright, Do we have our plan set?
Matt: Yeah uh… before we go, were the kids targeted too?
Fox: Well yeah, but they dealt with them just fine. Except for that weird square guy…
Matt: Dynamo?
Fox: Yeah but like some… twisted f**ked up version.
Matt: Hm… probably should monitor that… they’re fine though, right?
Fox: Yeah yeah don’t worry.
Matt: Alright good… Everyone ready?
Angel was preparing the spell on Eren, who was fast asleep. Heather takes out her bat, Linda and Quinn stand close, and Spark and Mercury nod with determination.
Matt: Alright, let's get my wife back… Persephone, teleport us.
Persephone nods, sets the coordinates, and they were off
