If you’re an achievement junkie and are looking to be constantly rewarded, you can’t go wrong with Alien Isolation.
But if you hate stealth games (I kinda do because they boil down to trial and error), it’s a mixed bag. On one hand you CAN skill your way around the alien and learn its moves, and as the game progresses, you have more tools at your disposal to keep it away from you.
On the other hand, if you get caught, you go back to your last save point and there are no quick saves. This results in trying specific sections over and over again from the same spot which drastically takes away from the horror it’s trying to convey.
