*Yu stands up, wiping away the blood from his mouth, seemingly disgusted* "Ugh...I've had way better...This flesh is way too sour and tough...I need something more-" *He turns immediately when he hears footsteps* "Flavorful..." *He stares into the slayer's eyes, not moving a muscle, trying to read what he's going to do*

"Greetings. I am Isamu Atsushi. You are a demon, yes?"

*His eyes narrow as he asks the question. He assumes he knows the answer and is playing him for a joke...* "Take a guess...A Hashira...Your flesh and blood must taste divine...however, you slayers are like forbidden fruit. Such amazing taste wasted on people like you...It pisses me off knowing I'll never get to rip you open and get a try...Such is life..." *Yu stands up, preparing to leave. He's strong, but he isn't an idiot and knows that getting into a fight with a Hashira would guaranteed defeat and death.*

*He ran after him, seemingly teleporting. He stopped him in his tracks.*

"You don't think I'm gonna let you get away, do you? Don't let my face fool you."

*Yu stops running as Isamu stands in front of him* "What the hell?!" *He then turns around and begins sprinting in the other direction*

*He continued moving just as fast.*

"I may seem kind, but to demons, I'm anything but."

*He growls, starting to get annoyed* "Leave me be!" *He begins jumping off of various trees and rocks, trying to get him off of his trail*

*He continued moving super fast.*

"You're probably wondering how I move so fast."

*He then stops, facing him instead of running away* "You leave me no choice then...I tried being peaceful but you just won't buzz off..." *He makes a hand sign* "If you continue to pursue me, then..." *A red dragon, seemingly made of blood is summoned behind him. It's pretty big* "I'll have to kill you."

"Ah, a Blood Demon Art. You must be pretty powerful. But you're not a Kizuki."

*He didn't seem bothered. In fact, he was still smiling.*

(What if your character is a former Kizuki, like Kyogai?)

(That sounds good!)

"Used to be one. But as time marches, stronger are created. I don't mind climbing my way back up...I was getting rusty anyways...Not like its any of your damn business...Now scram before I rip you in two."

"Come on, then."

*He then blitzes behind him, making another hand symbol*

"Snake!"

*A giant blood snake is summoned and grabs Isamu within its mouth*

*He cut his way free.*

"Total Concentration, Flame Breathing! Form One - Unknowing Fire!"

*He destroyed the snake.*

(He was trained by Rengoku's father and learned Flame Breathing before he developed Light Breathing)

*He is then pounced on by a tiger right as he gets out. Yu is not giving him any time to breathe*

*Strangely enough, even though his main crutch in this fight is called Total Concentration Breathing, for whatever reason, he doesn't seem to need to actually breathe to fight.*

(Well, not literally, but he's just making sure not to let up on the assault)

"You can try. I've fought bigger things than that dragon, though such a powerful Blood Demon Art is impressive, I must say."

"Shut up already...You're pissing me off..." *The dragon roars as he waits for Isamu to fight or flee* "Accept my mercy or perish. Those are your options "

"How about a third option?"

"And what might that be, hm?"

"I win."

*He suddenly seemed to teleport to the dragon, and cut it to pieces.*

*His eyes widen as he looks behind himself* "What the hell?!"

"Exactly."

*He teleported back to his former spot... or rather ran. Really damn fast.*

"You...You're not human! I refuse to believe it!"

*He takes a small step back*

"No, I'm human. I'm just really fast. You should see some of the other Hashira."

"...I'm just getting rusty then...Alright...I guess I gotta start trying harder now."

Sophiea: *stands there looking at them*

*He nodded.*

"Get some rest. I have to go make my report."

(Giyu has been made the de facto leader of the Corps, by the way. Don't remember if I mentioned that or not)

Sophiea: ok *goes to walk home*

*He nodded. The following day, she was summoned by Isamu.*

*she looked horrified*

*He was confused. He walked over to her.*

"Are you okay, Kinoe?"

(He still doesn't know her name. He usually refers to people by their rank if he doesn't know their name, so since Sophiea is a Kinoe he refers to her as Kinoe)

Sophiea: AAAAH *quickly steps back to the corner of the room, she thinks you’re Aria, saying to herself* get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my head!!!

*He sighed.*

"Light Breathing, Eleventh Form - Calming Glow."

*The room was filled with a soft light that instantly calmed her mind.*

(I'm making up extra, non-combat forms of Isamu's Light Breathing specifically for this RP because therapy)

Sophiea: *calms down* finally, it’s gone

"Twelfth Form: Serene Mind."

*The thoughts of Aria were replaced with more peaceful images of fields of flowers and vibrant sunsets.*

Sophiea: *relaxed*

*He went back to the others.*

Aria: *regenerates then starts to form*

*The burning sensation returned. It was clear the unknown demon was still using his Blood Demon Art.*

Aria: *she doesn’t care and still slowly transforms*

*Eventually, she was hindered from doing so, left with only one arm and her left thigh.*

Aria: *regenerates, leaving*

*The demon stopped using his art. Isamu turned to Sophiea.*

"Are you alright?"

Sophiea: *cowers*

"Eleventh Form."

Sophiea: *calm* yes

"Trust him. Isamu has been doing this for many years."

Tyler: alright

Sophiea: *whimps*

Tyler: don’t worry, hubby has you

*Meanwhile, back at the house...*

Aria: *knocks on the door*

*Isamu was waiting, with the ones who were still left in the house safely behind him.*

Aria: *still knocking*

*He quietly managed to get the house's inhabitants out the back window and into the garden. He gave them instructions to head towards the Demon Slayer Corps HQ, then went to distract Aria.*

Aria: Isamu

"I'm here. Fight me."

Aria: alright *summons home-attacking spears*

*He managed to deflect most of them.*

Aria: *summons more* sure you can handle all of this

*He kept deflecting them.*

Aria: *teleports around him every milisecond*

*He concentrated on her movements.*

Aria: *stabs him every millisecond teleport*

*He was having trouble focusing on deflecting the spears and watching her. But eventually, she gave him an opening - one which he exploited.&

Aria: *goes for it*

*He managed to cut her head off.*

Aria: *regenerates it*

*He followed all the way inside of her home.*

*he hears Sophiea crying to her husband, her husband comforts him saying “I got your back”*

*He stood straighter.*

"May I enter?"

*his husband hears you, he brings her to her arm, walking to the door answering it*

???: and who may you be? Are you that demon from the north of the village?

"No. My name is Isamu Atsushi. I am the Light Hashira."

*He showed the man the back of his fist and muttered something. A Kanji character appeared: 柱 (Literally "Pillar," used for Hashira).*

Tyler: ah right, sorry for my judge. I’m Tyler, her husband. *looks at Sophiea hugging him tight, whimpering* what the hell happened?

"There was a demon named Aria. Particularly powerful, she was. She somehow imprinted on your wife, and she saw a vision of her in the corner of my estate. She claimed that Aria said she was coming for you, her family. But Aria is dead. Either way, I have a request."

Tyler: what?…

"Can I stay here? To protect you, I mean."

*a distanced voice said “sure”*

Tyler: who was that?

"Come on, let's get back to headquarters."

Sophiea: ok

*back at HQ*

*He sat down to sharpen his sword.*

Sophiea: *looks around, starts to see Aria in her mind again but this time she’s confused* who’s that over there

*He looked.*

"I don't see anyone."

Sophiea: what do you mean, that guy’s literally right here

"First Form - Revealing Glare."

*A light filled the room.*

"I still don't see anyone."

*Aria said to Sophiea in her mind “you thought I was dead? Pitiful”*

Sophiea: it just said “you thought I was dead? Pitiful”

*He nodded.*

"Twelfth Form - Serene Mind."

*she stills sees Aria in the serene mind, she says “cmon, I know that’s not gonna work”*

Sophiea: *feels a bit scared*

"Is that better, Kinoe?"

Sophiea: mhm

"I've been developing these techniques in the hope that I could use them to aid people effected by PTSD or other types of trauma. They're still experimental, so the effects will not be permanent. I recommend you stay near me until I've perfected them if you don't want them to end."

Sophiea: wha?

"If you leave my presence, the effects will last for an hour, before wearing off. Once they are no longer active, I can't stop the thoughts of Aria from entering your mind again. I would otherwise recommend you stay near me, or stay around my property, and only go on missions if I can accompany you, so I can continue using these techniques to keep you from thinking about her."

Sophiea: I… ok

*He nodded.*

Sophiea: so how long do I have to stay with you?

"I'm not sure. At least until I perfect the Eleventh Form."

Sophiea: alright

*He nodded and went to get a new uniform himself.*

*some minutes later, Sophiea is fully equipped with the uniform*

*He nodded.*

"Lwt's go."

Sophiea: *looks around suddenly seeing Aria in her mind, feeling scared*

*He placed a hand on her shoulder to ground her.*

"Focus, stay with me."

Sophiea: *shakes her head* right

"Are you alright?"

Sophiea: y-yea, I’m fine.

"You sure?"

Sophiea: yes I’m fine

*He started searching for Sophiea.*

Sophiea: I’m over here!

*He went to where she was.*

Sophiea: did she leave?

"As far as I can tell."

Sophiea: what does she mean by “it’s too late”?

"I don't know. Are you hurt?"

Sophiea: no, just a bruise from her pinning me to the ground

"Good. Let's get back to headquarters."

*at hQ*

*None of them worked. They all hammered against the seal before disappearing.*

Aria: how about some trauma *uses that on Sophiea*

*While it effected her, it did nothing to the seal.*

???: "Leave, demon."

Sophiea: *yelling*

Aria: *she hears Sophiea* ah, so it does work

???: "Leave."

*Aria felt a sudden, searing and excruciating pain in her side.*

Aria: aaaaah my brain hurts

*She was further repelled from the gates.*

Aria: *gets feral*

*Isamu came in suddenly, slicing her head off.*

Aria: *waits for Isamu to leave*

*He looked over his shoulder.*

"Ah, Kinoe! You're here!"

Sophiea: yea, so I came here for a reported demon sighting here?

"Yes, the demon sighting. Stick with me."

(I have to make a change. I initially intended for Isamu, my character, to be the Sun Hashira, before quickly realizing that I don't know the Forms of Sun Breathing. Instead, I used a custom Style I made up called Light Breathing. It's derived from Sun and Flame Breathing and has ten forms. With this amendment comes a few changes in his appearance: His hair and eyes are a vibrant yellow, not red, and his haori is white fading into yellow at the bottom. His uniform is black with a slight yellow tint. His sword is white and yellow, and the hilt is white with yellow details. The handguard and pommel are made of white gold, and the sheath is white and yellow, similar to his haori)

*He led her around, asking various questions. They all came up with similar results - not that any of them were really helpful.*

Sophiea: this case is starting to get cold, these results are barely understandable towards it

"I can still sense a demon somewhere here... a strong one, too. We must keep searching."

(Isamu has the ability to sense others' auras. He uses this skill to tell when someone wishes him harm, and can also vaguely sense demons when they're nearby. However, if a demon has disguised themselves as a human, he can't tell they're a demon unless the demon's disguise is weak. All he can really tell right now is that there's an underlying fear in everyone in the town, and a vague presence of a powerful demon)

(Ok. Just one question, is there a type of timeline this takes in? [specifically year])

Sophiea: just hope it won’t go stale

*He nodded. He continued questioning the townsfolk.*

(I’m talking about real life year such as 1720 or 2012)

*one person answered a completely unexpected answer that could be helpful*

Inosuke: "Wha-?! How'd you do that?!"

Aria: oh hmm, let’s see, I’m a f**king demon? Maybe someone actually needs some meds

Inosuke: "YOU LITTLE-"

*He began slashing wildly. The other Hashira joined in, one by one.*

Aria: *teleports through all slashes* cmon, where’s the real challenge? Meds-Boy

*Inosuke got angrier. Each slash from the different weapons came closer and closer to her.*

Aria: *teleports away then teleports back holding meds* here you go *throws it at Inosuke’s face*

*He tore them apart. One sword managed to nick Aria.*

Aria: *rubs it* pick up your meds now, you can’t let them go to waste

*Imosuke managed to cleave her neck off.*

Aria: *regenerates* wow, you finally hurt me for once

"Twelfth Form - Serene Mind, Brightness Sixfold."

(A stronger variant of Form Twelve)

*Aria is faintly noticeable, saying “I’m coming after everything you known about, your family, your husband, your kids, and your assistant. I don’t know if you’d care for him but hey, it’s too late am I right?”*

Sophiea: *scared, stepping back*

"Brightness Tenfold!"

*Aira’s no longer noticeable but Sophiea still thinks about what Aria said*

"You alright?"

Sophiea: *feeling scared, running off as fast as she can*

"Kinoe!"

Sophiea: *she runs off HQ, quickly getting back to her house*

*He followed her.*

"Kinoe, where are you going?"

Sophiea: *she doesn’t hear what he said, she just still runs to her home*

*She was stopped dead in her tracks by a rather large spiked ball.*

Aria: what the… *looks around it* what kind of protection is this

???: "The kind that gets demons like you killed!"

*The voice was crazed and rough. The man who spoke sounded like a maniac.*

???: "I'm Inosuke Hashirbira, and you're going down!"

Aria: you need some meds?

*He started fuming.*

Inosuke: "Why you-!! I don't need any damn meds!!!"

*He dropped the Mace he was holding and pulled two swords from his belt. They were jagged and chipped, and lacked handguards.*

Inosuke: "I'M GONNA TEAR YOU APART!"

*He was stopped by someone else.*

???: "Slow down, Inosuke. We don't know how strong she is."

Aria: who else is there

Giyu: "Unimportant to you."

*The presence of several figures (including the fuming Inosuke) became apparent.>

Aria: well that’s a neat trick

Inosuke: "I'LL SHOW YA A NEAT TRICK!!!"

*He bounded forwards.*

Inosuke: "BEAST BREATHING, FIRST FANG - SLICE!"

*He brought his swords down, aiming to tear Aria's face apart.*

Aria: *teleports behind* really?

"Good to know."

*He sped forward, aiming to slice the head off.*

Aria: *appears behind him*

*His eyes widened in surprise.*

Aria: you’re joking, right?

Sophiea: *raises her sword*

"Sophiea-!"

Sophiea: *goes to run at her*

Aria: *tilts her sword and pins her to the ground* pathetic

"Damn you-!"

*He tried to impale Aria.*

Aria: *grabs it and slams it down*

"Gah-!:

Aria: *to Sophiea* it’s too late

Sophiea: wh- what?

*He nodded.*

"Get some rest."

Sophiea: alright *is about to leave the room*

*He held her back.*

"Actually, stay in here, just in case. I can lay out a mat for you."

Sophiea: *stays*

*He got a sleeping mat prepared for her.*

Sophiea: *rests on it*

*He smiled and watched over her.*

Sophiea: *snuggles on the mat*

*He fell asleep himself.*

*next day*

*She suddenly felt a powerful force pushing her away from the Demon Slayers.*

Aria: *kneels down*

*She was eventually thrown right out the gates, as if launched by a catapult.*

Aria: *yelps*

*She saw as she was flying a short-ish demon.*

???: "Blood Demon Art - Seal of Banishment!"

Aria: what? How rude

*When she tried to enter again, she was knocked back.>

Aria: *uses his spears*

*They didn't work.*

Aria: *uses other powers she had*

"This time, I won't miss your neck."

Aria: sure you won’t

*He grunted.*

"Kinoe, back me up!"

Sophiea: alright *drew her sword*

Aria: aww look at you two love-doves

*He got confused.*

"What do you mean?"

Aria: you two look cute together, should be married soon

Sophiea: is she even making sense?

"Not to me. You're just my tsugoko."

Sophiea: indeed

Aria: let’s actually fight on this one

"Agreed."

*He began his Breathing.*

"Total Concentration, Light Breathing! Fourth Form - Midday Heat!"

*He slashed at Aria.*

Aria: *teleports behind him* now now, you know I can teleport

Sophiea: *runs up to her*

"Kinoe, wake up."

Sophiea: *still sleepy*

"Kinoe, come on. We have a mission."

Sophiea: hmmm?

"We have a mission."

Sophiea: morning sleepyhead *gets up*

"What do you mean? You're the one who was sleeping."

Sophiea: oh whatever

"Get dressed."

*He handed her a fresh uniform.*

Sophiea: alright then, but don’t look

*He gave chase, managing to knock Aria down.*

Aria: *struggling to get up*

Tyler: *picks Sophiea up and runs to Headquarters*

*At the headquarters...*

Tyler: now where’s Giyu?

*Giyu appeared around a corner.*

"I already know. Isamu sent his Lasugai crow. Remain behind me."

Tyler: what for?

"Do not question my reasons. Merely know that I have them. I swear to you, you and your wife will be unharmed."

Tyler: what about her family

"Isamu will protect them."

Tyler: how will he find them?

*It was a demon. Isamu quickly decapitated it.*

"It's not the one we're after. His aura was too weak."

Sophiea: huh

"Let's go back."

Sophiea: alright

*Ehen they returned, they found the town massacred.>

Sophiea: this place has been through enough huh?

"Indeed... come, help me bury them."

*His previous cheerful lilt was gone, replaced by sorrow.*

Sophiea: alright *helps him*

*a random laugh is heard, it’s aura seems pretty strong*

*He drew his sword and whipped around.*

Sophiea: *draws her sword aswell*

*the laugh starts to sound louder*

*He gritted his teeth.*

"Form Six - Beam of Excited Light!"

*He began moving very fast.*

Sophiea: *joins in*

Aria: *dodging it all like that one anime teacher*

*He watched carefully. He decided to change tactics.*

"Fire Breathing, First Form - Unknowing Fire!"

(Isamu was trained by Kyojuro Rengoku before he died, and learned Flame Breathing before creating Light Breathing)

Aria: *gets hit*

*He had sliced off her arm. He quickly changed back.*

"Light Breathing, Fourth Form!"

*He managed to sever her other limbs, hampering her regeneration due to the burning caused by Form Four's attacks.*

Aria: alright, you got me ag-

Sophiea: *slices off her head*

*He smirked.*

"Nice cut, Kinoe!"

Sophiea: thanks

Aria: I scoot off now *all of her body parts disappeared*

*He nodded, satisfied.>

Sophiea: she gotta head up his girl

*In an instant, his hand was on his hilt, fearing the worst.*

Sophiea: *hugs more tighter*

Tyler: *places his hand on her hand* don’t worry Sophie, you’re ok

"It's settled then."

*He entered.*

Aria: *spawns next to the entrance door*

*He whipped around and went right for her neck.*

Aria: *grabs it before she gets hurt* my death was greatly exaggerated

"Tyler, get her back to the Headquarters!"

Tyler: w-why?

Aria: yea Isamu, why should she go to headquarters

*He pushed his blade, managing to slice off Aria's fingers.*

"Just go! Find Giyu Tomioka! He will protect you!"

Aria: *regenerates her fingers, teleporting behind Tyler*

"Who's there?!"

???: wouldn’t you wanna know?

"I'd like to know who I am going to kill."

*the demon steps in, idk if it has to be specific*

"Who are you?"

"No, this Demon is a Kizuki. You're just a Kinoe. I can't ask you to risk your life, so stay behind me!"
