Amiga... Thank you. Born and Raised in Los Angeles 56 years.(Polish, Portuguese, Irish, Nakota).
Make America Great Again? Which era was great without flaw? Again, meaning prior... So the 60's and 70's when women could not vote in all states. When women could not have a bank account or credit card without their husbands or fathers signature? When police harassed everybody? Bro trucks today would be ticketed or confiscated for breaking headlight height rules, tire width rules tint rules and every set of truck nuts would be seized and the driver thrown in jail for indecent behavior...
The 80's when we had nuclear sirens and drills in school? When public bombings were a regular thing, especially for Churches and Family Planning clinics? When you could be arrested for profanity or using vulgarity in public? When it was okay to detest our soldiers and kick them to the curb after having served in Vietnam? Cutting federal budgets for mental health facilities like state hospitals, that actually house all the mentally ill and drug addicted people who currently reside on our streets. (Thank you Regan Republicans) When catsup was actually considered to be a vegetable in school lunches and counted as such for budget cutting purposes. When smoking in school as a student was okay? When balding men were unsexy and gross? When home schooling wasn't allowed? When administrations passed the laws that made it okay to spray poison on our food supply? When leaded gas was legal and causing birth defects?
Which part of AGAIN do people mean? or do you mean when white men could be dickheads without repercussion? When police could beat people for having the wrong skin tone. When businesses could work people to the bone for minimal pay. aka energy production, oil and coal and the "Company Store"?
I'm the Patriot who fights for equal rights for all, who understands the ramifications to the economy for deleting cheap labor. For allowing access to all faiths and their abilities to have prayer in public school.
America never stopped being great. Only those who now understand what it is like to be marginalized are trying to convince everybody else, they have a better plan.
