Well in this case half of the price was from the LEDs, the model itself only cost 70 although if it were in stock somewhere other than eBay I could've gotten it for 50. Same with the LEDs.
That one segment is acting up again even after two rounds of Dad troubleshooting it. It doesn't turn on with the rest of the LEDs; Using the caveman method (poking/jiggling) makes it work; ... But it doesn't change color until I use the caveman method again; I forget exactly what Dad said but it's not that urgent to fix since I can just poke it and it works, so hopefully it doesn't get any worse. He knows what the problem is though so when it's time to fix it he knows what he has to do
