Yes, AI is a tool. I have nothing against using AI chatbots or image generators for personal pleasure. But I don't think your teacher wants you to use AI to complete your homework assignments. Maybe your teacher told you it was okay if you used AI or even specifically requested you use AI. If that's the case, fine. If not, then you're cheating and you're misusing the tool.
