Should anything not useful to society be illegal? If you think gay marriage should be illegal because they can't have kids (lesbians sometimes do get pregnant from sperm banks), you're also saying people with inheritable diseases shouldn't be allowed to have kids. Old people aren't "useful" to society, so why would they be different? What if the gay couple are both infertile anyway?
