I will say one political video i saw was pretty funny and made me rofl, there was this girl talking about how she would've loved to be man in the 1910s bc they had it so much better than stay-at-home kitchen-cleaning moms bc of their jobs, but she kept saying this while showing pictures of men working in ugly moldy mines and in the construction fields
and then she was like "being a man gave you bigger opportunities" and had a picture of "uncle Sam wants you"

Not every job was an office job or a cozy one
Some ppl earned money through near-torturous jobs
mendinjitis (or however tf you spell it) literally got caused by ppl overworking kids 6 days a week and they were literally sticking their hands in pure mildew and working jobs that even men nowadays would be disgusted by

If you think about jobs like that, yeah I think women had it better in the kitchen back then. Now that we have jobs that we have now, women can work too. But go back 100-150 years and I think a feminist would have a hard time convincing the women back then that they should earn their own bread. They were valuable in that they helped feed the family and the men were valuable in that they kept the roof over their heads.
