One of the many "god isn't real but we want to pretend he is" coping mechanisms religions developed over the centuries. Participate in a real thing then sprinkle make believe on top of that.

Which of course is preferable to the ones who hurt themselves and others doing things that would actually require a real god somewhere in the process.

I'm saying that if you wanna thank anyone, thank the person who bought/cooked the actual food, not God, unless God himself entered the kitchen or bought the food.

Why not thank God for the playlist your friend made you? or for the video your favorite content creator made? same principle. you don't thank someone who did jack all for the effort of another.

how? he didn't make me cook the food, he didn't come down and say "You may now cook the food" he may have, in your fantasy world, made chickens, or whatever, but he didn't invent cooking them, Humans did, he didn't invent video, humans did, my point is about you giving the credit to the person putting in the most effort.
