i can't help but notice that your questions are based in a fear perspective. that's not healthy. instead, try to think carefully about the implications of using military personnel for non-military operations. their training's not suited for it, and even if the personnel were first trained suitably, they still wouldn't be ideal for the job. imagine thousands of inexperienced armed soldiers working in densely populated areas, trying to manage unwilling and sometimes armed groups. it's not smart. this is just one of many reasons that we need intelligent leadership with experienced advisors. when you elect the opposite of that, for political reasons, good situations will deteriorate and bad situations will get worse.
