Someone on the Silksong team changed their name to TheDruidWasWr or something like that and then changed their profile pick to a picture of a cake. This drove fans crazy enough to reverse image search the cake to find its recipe was published April 2nd, 2024. The new Nintendo Direct that is presumably talking about the Switch 2 is April 2nd, 2025. Naturally people thought this was the start of an ARG and Silksong will be revealed in the Nintendo Direct, some even thinking it would be a launch title for the Switch 2. The devs then confirmed that none of this meant anything and then went back to radio silence.
