Faith gives people hope. If I was in a POW camp and believed the US would come to save me, I would feel much better than someone who believed they wouldn't come for us.

That faith of mine could be a complete lie, but it would still give me hope if I had a small amount of faith in the US saving me.

This was actually a pretty good conversation. Thank you for not being rude and trying to understand my beliefs. I've met people who get very defensive and mean when I reject their beliefs. I do want to continue this conversation tomorrow since it's getting late for me.
