Using wormwood was a poor choice after all

Pinocchio didn't say any offensive words or make any offensive gestures in the 1939 Disney movie. But he did do many things that are much worse, including truancy, vandalism, and smoking a cigar.

no alcohol with those bad kids?
no muggings?

I'm just going by what I remember in the movie. I imagine Pinocchio might have done worse things in the original book.
