What's the point in looting homes burned to a crisp? What could you loot that you or anyone else would actually want? Fire is the most destructive disaster, and nothing that gets burned like that would have any value.

Reminds me of criminals who chopped the copper out of an elementary school's air-conditioning system during a summer break. They did thousands of dollars in damage to sell copper for pocket change.
