True. My father in law is a retired CalFire Captain. These were never issues in the 70s and 80s. Newsom and Clinton f'ed everything up. During Bill Clinton's term, he signed an act to not devastate or create roads in forested areas....meaning no maintenance or brush clearing. Full circle now, with fuel for fires.

It's sad when you have to remind people that they voted for this, but they did. Laying off thousands of firefighters because they refused the clot shot, punishing the rest by cutting budgets, not allowing the clearing of brush and a hundred other things all added up and they have only themselves to blame.
