the german empire in 1939 is called the "third-reich" under adolf hitler. but instead of restoring the monarchy, hitler established a one-part totalitarian-dictatorship. even the last emperor of germany kaiser wilhelm ii disliked hitler for his actions(on 24 January 1933).
