The venom is used to produce antibodies that attach to the venom itself. It's like the tetanus vaccine, which isn't against the bacteria, but against the neurotoxin the bacteria produce, because by the time the immune system responded to the bacteria the neurotoxin would have killed you. Cancer, on the other hand, grows faster in the presence of fructose, and according to research causes "more aggressive phenotypes". The cure for that would be stopping farm subsidies, which is basically farmer welfare, which would stop them from overproducing corn to the point they turn it into high fructose corn syrup just to have something to use it for. Cancelling corn farm subsidies would reduce cancer rates.
