This is actually possible. There's a company called Folio Photonics that is working to mass-produce optical discs that can hold one terabyte of data. That's enough data for 20 hours of 4K quality video. You could hold all ten Saw movies on one disc with room to spare for three hours of bonus features in 4K quality.

And once they start selling one terabyte discs, they plan to expand to ten terabytes.
Too many people have abandoned physical media in favor of streaming services, which is a mistake. Physical media has the following advantages over streaming services:
1. No buffering or reduction in picture quality.
2. No unexpected and jarring ad interruptions.
3. The menu layout on physical media is always the same (whereas the menu layouts on streaming services can change each time you watch something).
4. Streaming services often require monthly fees and can take away your favorite movies or series without warning or explanation. If you get a physical copy, you only have to pay once and it's yours forever.
5. The audio and video on physical media never changes. Even if streaming services always give you acceas to a given movie or series, they can change the audio or video content in that movie and series. And you won't notice those changes until you watch it.
