The internet is part of society. If it's unacceptable to go around calling people names, telling them to end their lives, and calling them slurs, should the internet be any different? I don't think the internet should be a place where you can say anything you want without repercussions.
Also, if you're exercising your rights for the sake of hurting other people, there might be a deeper issue.
