DST screws with the body's natural circadian rhythm and disrupts sleep. It's like having jet lag for 8 months out of the year. The long term consequences of which are an increase in cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, poorer mental health, lower cognitive performance ("brain fog"), and an increase in the risk of motor vehicle accidents and death. With 24 hours in a day and only so much daylight hours in the day, DST is a mind-f*ck for fools that "think" they are getting 'more' daylight hours, especially in the summer when the days are naturally longer anyways, who don't do shift work, who don't have to drive to work before sunrise, etc. DST doesn't "save energy" when more people are using energy to drive and go other places and do things they wouldn't do after dark. It doesn't "save" energy when people have to burn electric to run their house in the dark hours.
