Same goes for A Christmas Story. They showcase what it was like to grow up as a kid during Christmas during those time periods. I’m sure YOU were definitely a perfect child when you were young, especially during Christmas.
Home Alone especially was more of a coming-of-age movie where a kid dependent on everyone else learns to look after himself.
