Want to watch an NBA game on Christmas where all the living, breathing, flesh-and-blood human beings are turned into cartoon characters?
If you said no, you may be vastly outnumbered. For reasons I cannot understand, Disney will be taking real-time footage of a real NBA game and turning it into a cartoon on Christmas at noon.
The question must be asked: Why?
Do kids have such contempt for actual photographs and actual footage of actual human beings that the only way to get them to watch sports is to disrespect the athletes by stripping away all the realistic visual details that make it clear they are actual real live people just so they look less like humans and more like Mickey and Minnie Mouse?
