WHEN AN EAGLE TURNS FORTY, IT MUST GO ON A MOUNTAIN TO SHED IT'S BLUNT BEAK, BLUNT CLAWS, AND LIGHT FEATHERS. IT WOULD BE UNDENIABLY PAINFUL, BUT AT LEAST THE EAGLE WILL HAVE THEM REGROWN AND THUS LIVE FOR MORE DECADES.
