I find it funny that a solar company from Florida is trying to place mega solar farms in the Midwest, buying up farm ground in tornado and fire risk zones,.... And yet average Americans can't afford the costs of solar panels on their homes, but corporations can't use tax incentives to purchase land and force a state to approve their project.... Wonder why now... At the very end of Biden term...

Well my theory is that the company is using tax incentives to take over farmland in the name of energy efficiency. They could care less about the eagles and hawks that fly above them, and if a fire or tornado wipe them out they can claim insurance, come out smelling like a rose.

The stupid thing is that local government got involved and approved the measure. So now it's just a hope that they can't afford the project and the power company denies them access to the grid.

With any luck, they won't be able to pull that shit again for another 12 years.
