That's just a story archetype. Lion King, by no means at all, owns that particular story archetype. In fact, Lion King ripped it off of other stories, I am sure. First of all, I have to point out that Frozen was, in fact, based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen story "The Snow Queen" and Disney puts that in the credits, so even though they may have ripped off that story (vaguely. and that woud be all they ripped off), they admitted to it, so it's not so big a deal. Second, the Lion King was also a Disney film. It's ok to rip your own ideas off, even if that were actually the case here, which it isn't. Now, unless the main villain is named Scar and the main protagonist is a boy who becomes a man and comes back as an adult to reclaim the kingdom from their uncle, I have to say that Frozen is relatively original. Most importantly, it was well presented. So, again, while I don't usually defend Disney (and they certainly don't require my defending them), I simply cannot allow such allegations to go unchallenged. Haha! Ok, carry on.
