Are you attacking those who admire George Bailey by telling them, "If George Bailey is your favorite character in It's A Wonderful Life, it's just because you're young. Wait until you get older and Mr. Potter (the movie's villain) will become your favorite character. And wait until you get much, much older and Uncle Billy will become your favorite character."?
Right now, George Bailey is my favorite character. I can see myself relating to Uncle Billy in the future, but I will never, ever, ever, relate to, identify with, pity, feel sorry for, root for or admire Mr. Potter.
