CHECK ALL FUSES, CHECK BATTERY TERMINALS FOR LOOSE AND DIRTY CORRODED WIRES AND POSTS AND TERMINAL CONNECTORS, CHECK FOR LOOSE ALTERNATOR MOUNTING BOLTS, CHECK FOR ACCESSORIES SERPENTINE BELT SLACK OR IT'S TENSIONER FUNCTION, START VEHICLE WITH A FRESH BATTERY AND AFTERWARDS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. IF THE VEHICLE DIES FROM DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE CABLE OFF THE BATTERY, THEN THE ALTERNATOR IS NOT PUSHING ENOUGH JUICE TO RUN THE ENGINE AND IT'S FUCT. THAT IS HOW IT WAS DONE BACK IN THE DAY BY US OLD FOLKS. OF COURSE IN TODAY'S WORLD THE ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS MIGHT BE "WOKE" AND WORK SOME OTHER KIND OF WAY; CHECK YOUR CAR'S MANUAL FOR ITS PRONOUNS.
