I was for U.S. Canada schengen or at least special schengen passes for people who live near the border but now am all for Canada and the U.S. becoming one nation. I am for basic border security but I find it pointless to make people who live near the border to go through border checks everytime they go to the store across the street to buy milk. People in Point Roberts are cut off from the rest of America therefore they have to go through border checks everytime they do as much as go to the grocery store and commute to work. Even bus drivers who drive the Detroit-Windsor tunnel have to go through border checks everytime which I find very pointless.
