Most of the whitest communities in the Midwest are being poisoned by the lack of small family farm distribution, over ran corporate farming and mega production of ethanol based products. The rate of Parkinson's, neurological disorders, and cancer is on the rise in these areas, and nobody knows why.... A very harsh reality is that it's everywhere and everyone is blind. It effects the poor the hardest because they don't have health care, can't afford healthy food, never get a vacation, and live in low quality delapatated housing. The end up spending every paycheck for health costs, and can never get ahead. If everyone could afford a spa day like the rich people maybe we would have healthier communities, but unfortunately corporations are poisoning specific places, and everyone it the areas rich and poor will be effected, the rich have access to better food and healthcare, and can travel around though. The poor don't have such luxury.
