Yeah through taxes that we all pay. And that's fine I'm glad we have the resources to do it. The more people lifted out of poverty the stronger the nation becomes as a whole.

What matters is they stay funded and keep people healthy and off the streets last thing we need is two million grandmas ending up homeless and with no healthcare. It'll put a massive burden on hospitals charities and shelters, a burden they already cannot keep up with. Also, taxes fund it all. The difference is minutiae that doesn't matter.

No it very much is minutiae social security is a tax yes but it goes into a trust that currently sits on 2.3 trillion dollar surplus. And that the only difference.
