Hacker’s reason was because Sprunki was cringe. Twitter actually celebrated that he won’t be making updates to the game. After the kid was doxxed, he was not only swatted, the hacker threatens to come and kill them if they didn’t pay the hacker 500 dollars. And it wasn’t just the dev that was doxxed, the whole family was doxxed.

Yep, that’s what happens when twitter glorifies taking actions like this when they deem something is cringe. Worst part, the only reason Sprunki was deemed as cringe was because the content farms found it and because the characters weren’t too detailed it was easy to animate. Naturally YouTubers like Lankeybox and other slop YouTubers abused this to their advantage, and not a single one of them took fire for it.
