"I have no respect for any man that belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around and uses women for his own power and ego. You are that man (and have been for years)."; -Penelope Hegseth in a published
2018 email to Pete Hegseth, calling
him out on his behavior, demon-
strating that the allegations of...
for the moment, let's say "sexual
misconduct"... currently levied
against him most likely rest on
solid footing. Sooo yeah, you don't pay someone
hush-money because what you did
wasn't despicable. But let's set that
issue aside for the moment and talk
about Pete's stint as Vets For
Freedom's treasurer: under; his management of the coffers, VFF racked up $400k+ in debt -which, apparently, Hegseth was concealing from the organization, debt which was only discovered upon audit by a forensic accountant. By the time Hegseth left VFF,
he had effectively been demoted
to the rank of peon/footsoldier.
At this point Petey-boy founded
MN PAC -thus beginning the next
chapter of his adventures in
misuse of funds: of the $15k; MN PAC took in during its operation,
less than half was spent on candidates
while 1/3 was spent on Christmas
parties for family & friends. But wait, there's more!! See,
while all that was happening, Ol'
Pete was also serving as
executive director of Concerned
Veterans for America which,
subsquently, hired Pete's brother
Phil to the tune of $108k/yr sooo yeah, NEPOTISM AHOY!! Anyway, this is where things
start getting juicy: according
to whistleblowers, Petey-boy
was getting stumblebum to
black-out drunk at CVA events,
skirt-chasing his underlings and
seeing to it that (here's the call-
back) intraorganizational reports
of sexual impropriety/assault
went unaddressed. Natch, CVA's board of directors
eventually caught the scent of
Petey-poo on the breeze and
FORCED him to resign -which is
for the best because you can't
have a liability like someone
running the show who gets drunk
on the job or turns a blind eye
to behavior that damages the
cohesiveness of the unit. So now, Trump-cult kids, the
question you have to ask
yourselves, having blindly
defended Hegseth because
it's what Dear Leader wants,
is "Should someone with his
demonstrated failure of character,
leadership, morals and potential
for kompromat be allowed to
run the Pentagon?"
