There are some reasons, for example. Back in Vietnam war, the Vietnamese will arm their children and have them shoot US troops. In that case, if an armed child comes out with a gun shooting at people, that kid is going to get capped, and parents are going to be held accountable.

But convenience should never be a reason to kill anyone, especially a child. The large majority of abortions are for convenience.
