Counterculture is something that's forbidden and frowned upon in society. Getting married and having children was never something forbidden or frowned upon in society, it is something that was always allowed. Progressive culture doesn't forbid people from getting married and having children l, it merely lets people who aren't traditional live their own lives the way the want as well as letting people live their lives conforming to tradition. The way you think you're going against a some "machine" by by doing something you were never not allowed to do is just cringe and almost sounding like you want to society to view you as some "marginalized minority" the very thing you accuse the LGBTQ+ community of doing. If you ask me, I think you're just jealous the LGBTQ+ get to have their own parades and street parties every summer while you merely get left alone to live your own life and do your own thing without anyone ever even patting you on the back. And besides conservativism was never a "counterculture" ideology, it was always conforming to tradition and prevent any change, not allowing anyone to be free do what they want that isn't conforming to tradition and of course anti-counterculture, not allowing anything that doesn't conform to tradition, frowning upon anything that isn't traditional including counterculture, having a one lifestyle society that expects everyone to all live and look the same according to tradition and not allow anything different. The whole point of counterculture is going against what is considered traditional. Calling conservativism "counterculture" is a total oxymoron. And besides, like I said counterculture try to prevent people from conforming to tradition, it merely lets people not conform to tradition unlike conservativism which is all about preventing people from living a life that doesn't conform its traditional ideas.
