Basically my plan is to figure out how big one of these red segments is compared to something like the Gundam calibarn

For example if one is about 5 calibarns tall, I then have a proper unit to measure the whole thing with.

Once I finish measurements I'll do some math and figure out its approximate in-show height using the calibarn's height from the wiki, and how big it would be in 1/144 scale (Gundam model size) using the size of the model kit

Assuming the aerial rebuild is the same distance from the viewer as quiet zero and that everything is to scale, I'd guess that it's somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3 the height of one of those segments

Not sure I'll do the math tonight but it looks like I'm close to having a proper unit of measurement

Now, you may think this is horribly out of scale because of the image I used for the post BUT the part the calibarn is next to seems to be one of the outer segments, so that doesn't represent the size of what I'm trying to measure with.
