With that same technology intended it be used to produce art and assist writing, though, we also have multiple outlets for people to pursue legitimate healthy creative interests in art and writing which massively overwhelm the horrible effects that it happens to cause.

There have always been the minority of gross and horrible humans for as long as the existence of humanity itself, this is just a way for them to be heard more.
