I’m an avid Mission: Impossible fan. Fallout is genuinely one of the best action movies ever made.
I was so hyped for Dead Reckoning last year, and it just fell on its face. It flopped so hard that they had to rewrite and delay this movie for a whole year. And now the trailer for this movie dropped and I just feel apathetic. The cliffhanger of Dead Reckoning didn’t make me want to know what comes next. There was no reveal, no twist, no anything. I wish I could be excited for this movie, but I’m just not. I’ll probably go see it out of obligation, but my expectations are nowhere near as high anymore.
MI honestly should have stopped at Fallout. It was a perfect note to end on.
