God will still forgive anyone who asks and repents of their sins.

Just for the sake of conversation ... Hitler was a Christian. Was he forgiven?

If he asked and actually repented of his sins before he shot himself, he was forgiven.

Forgiven for genocide and suicide? So you don't believe in hell?

God will forgive any sin as long as the sinner repents. And yes, I believe in hell. And I believe that if you don't repent and follow god, than you will end up in hell.

So, if you live your life, everyday, purposefully in sin, hurting as many people as you possibly can along the way, as long as you say, "God forgive me" seconds before you die you won't be sent to hell but if you lose your vocal cords and can't say, "God forgive me" you'll burn?

My ex-mother-in-law believed that. She purposefully hurt a LOT of people. So did my mother for that matter. They both died fearing hell even though they repented.

I'm not arguing and I'm trying not to be condescending so I hope I'm not offending you. I, personally, don't believe in hell at all.

If you try to do that I think you’ll go to hell. Last-second repentance is not an infinite sin glitch.

Oh, good! I always had a hard time with that concept myself. It never felt right that you could hurt people on purpose and just say "Sorry" and that'd be it.

What about the people that were hurt? Did their lives mean so little to God that he just forgives those that tortured them and then you get to spend eternity with your abusers?

I was abused. The thought of spending eternity with my abusers ... oh that was a hard concept for me to accept. Especially since God is the only one they bothered to apologize to. Seems to me that the abuse I survived would have meant nothing to a god that just lets everybody in with the right password.
