December 7, 1941 was a sad day for America. That day led America into World War II.
But World War II was over in less than four years because we Americans invented the atomic bomb. Two atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki succeeded where everything else failed. With those two atomic bombs, we finally brought Japan to their senses. We finally earned their respect by accomplishing what they thought was impossible, beating them at their own game, and becoming their worst nightmare. So the Japanese surrendered and they never messed with us again. People don't mess with you when they're scared of you.
